Professor Seongho Lee majored in and acquired a doctoral degree in architecture and Urban Design. Served as a professor in Jeju Tourism University since 2001, he operated the Jeju Design Innovation Center for 12 years from 2003. Considering design as an important factor to show the competitiveness and identity of Jeju, various design policies and supporting projects were promoted by him. This includes holding the Jeju Design Exhibition, promoting design support projects, and fostering design companies. In addition, he expanded the scope of design by participating in landscape planning establishments and urban planning in Jeju. Under the concept of “Designing Jeju," he applies design in various ranges.
