Biography
Dr. KO Jae-nam, a professor at Korea National Diplomatic Academy since 1991, is in charge of research and lectures on the political-diplomatic-security issues of the former Soviet Republics, such as Russia and Central Asian States. He obtained his Ph.D. in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, U.S.A., in 1990. The dissertation topic of his Ph.D. was“How Does Reform Communism Become a Regime Commitment?: A Comparison of the Soviet and China”. He was a President of the Korean Association of Slavic and Eurasian Studies in 2004-05. He has also served as an adjunct professor or Instructor for the Graduate School of Hanyang University and Hankook University of Foreign Studies since 1991 to raise the expertise of graduate students.
