Jun Woo Lee is a pastor, professor, social worker, and sign language interpreter at the same time. He practiced community welfare focused on welfare for people with disability and church since his encounter with a deaf during his college years. He is currently working at the Undergraduate and Graduate School of Social Welfare at Kangnam University aiming to live the life of a scholar who brings change in humans and society and creates happiness. He takes on the vocation of ‘welfare mission’, ‘welfare ministry’, ‘welfare management’, ‘welfare and rehabilitation for the disabled’, and ‘sign language research’ as a social worker, sign language interpreter, pastor, and professor who continuously challenges oneself with a philosophy of vision determined by the direction and not speed. His major books include ‘Deaf Life and Sign Language’, and ‘Social Welfare Practice of Integration and Convergence’.
