Wook Yon LEE, born in 1963, is a professor at the Department of Chinese Culture at Sogang University. He received his doctorate from Korea University and served as a visiting professor at the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies at Harvard University. He studies 20th-century Chinese literature, especially Lu Xun literature and modern Chinese culture.
