Biography
Juan Carlos Caiza, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia in the Republic of Korea, is a lawyer from the Javeriana University of Bogota, with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Columbia, NY, and a Master's in Diplomacy and Laws from the Fletcher School at the University of Tufts, MA.
He has served as Consul of Colombia in the city of New York and as an advisor on the Direction of the National Department of Planning in Colombia, in the preparation of the National Development Plan 2014-18.
In two governments he has been an advisor to the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia for territorial public management in coordination of the execution of projects with the 32 Governors and the 1102 Mayors of the Country.
