Prof. Joon Kim is leading the Complex Systems Science / Rural Systems Visioneering SDG Lab, focusing on (1) visioneering (i.e. a triad of governance, management, and monitoring), (2) developing sustainability metrics, and (3) understanding of the scientific principles in visioneering. He is a program director of Future Earth at SNUAC, pursuing HESS - a transdisciplinary vision of ‘Healthy Ecological-Societal Systems.’ He currently serves as an advisory board member of ‘The Journal of Agricultural Meteorology’ of Japan and the editorial board member of ‘The Weather and Climate Extremes’ Elsevier journal.
