Biography
Dongho KIM has been engaged in various activities and gained wide experience as an activist and expert in disabled people’s organizations, welfare service organizations for the disabled, the government, and international organizations over the past 35 years. He served as the director of the Rehabilitation Support Division and the Rights Promotion Division for persons with disabilities in the Ministry of Health and Welfare. He led the Project of the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities and the Incheon Strategy as a social affairs officer (P4) in the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. He is currently serving as the chairman of the policy committee of the Korea Differently Abled Federation. Mr. KIM received his BA in History from Konkuk University and his MA in Public Administration from Yonsei University, focusing on Social Welfare."
