Biography

Tanabe MANABU is the representative of Japan's color planning. Born in Minato Ward, Tokyo, he graduated from Musashino University of Fine Arts in 1991. After that, he worked at the Color Planning Center after working as a researcher at the Department of Environmental Design and Tokyo Institute of Technology. He is a lecturer at Musashino Art University's Faculty of Design and a member of the Kamakura City Urban Landscape Council. His main tasks include Tokyo Color Guidelines (2006) and Hiroshima City Urban Landscape Planning (2013).
