Changwon LEE received his doctorate in sociology from the University of Maryland at College Park, USA, and is currently working as a senior policy researcher at the Migration Research & Training Centre. His main interests are international migration, migration policy, racism, and the Korean diaspora. He has recently been conducting research on the migration and employment status of international students and foreign researchers in the field of science and technology to Korea. He currently serves as a member of the Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development.
