Hyondo PARK is currently a Research Professor at the Sogang Euro-MENA Institute, Sogang University in Seoul, Korea. He serves as Director of the Middle East Forum for Industrial Cooperation, and policy advisor on Middle Eastern countries to the Ministry of Justice. He also worked as a policy advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for six years from August 2012 to July 2018. He received his B.A. in Religious Studies from Sogang University, his M.A. in Islamic Studies from the Institute of Islamic Studies at McGill University (Montreal, Canada), and his Ph.D. (Islamic Studies) from the University of Tehran in Iran.
