Nam-sik IN is a professor at the Department of Middle Eastern and African Studies, Korea National Diplomatic Academy. He mainly reads the Middle East affairs which include protracted conflicts in the region, the US's Middle East policy, and international terrorism-related violent extremism. He received his Ph.D in the Centre for Middle Eastern and Islamic Affairs, University of Durham, UK as well as B.A, M.A from Yonsei University. Dr. In was a visiting scholar at the Truman Institute of Hebrew University in Israel and the Middle East Institute of Durham University in the UK. Currently, he is an advisory member of the National Security Council.
