Biography
Dr. Oh is an Executive Director of the Korea Energy Agency (KEA), a public corporation that is in charge of energy demand and renewable energy promotion policies in Ulsan, Korea. He had served diverse positions at KEA including the climate change policy adviser and general manager of energy-GHG target management project. His primary research interests are greenhouse gas emission reduction policies with a focus on national GHG reduction targets and international reduction action based on cooperative approach, supporting programs for the industrial sector’s GHG reduction actions. As a 4-year member of the UNFCCC CDM Executive Board representing for Asian group, he has supervised the CDM process to promote the international result-based GHG emission reduction projects. For the action of ISO to respond to Climate Change, he led the standardization of ISO/TS14067(Carbon Footprint of Product). He consults several government agencies including MOTIE and MOE. He holds a Ph.D., an M.A., and a B.A. in Engineering from Seoul National University. He married with only a daughter.
