Jeong Jin Han is a historian researching at the GCC Institute at Dankook University and the Korea Institute of Civilizational Exchanges. He was awarded his M.A. of History from the University of Jordan, Amman, and PhD of History from SOAS, University of London. He published related to the history of inter-civilizational exchanges, Islamic Geography, and Middle Eastern Studies. His research includes “Creating the Medieval Islamic Geography using Korea”, “Conceptual Reasoning Behind Silla Becoming the Golden Island in the Medieval Islamic World: An Epistemological Analysis of the Legend of the Golden Islands at the Eastern End of the World”, Silla and the Silk Road (co-authored).
