Chairman Joon Kim is the eldest son of honorary chairman Kim Gak-joong, the eldest son of founder Kim Yong-wan of Kyungbang Co., Ltd. He graduated from Korea University with a BS in the Department of Chemistry. He continued his education at Brown University, Department of Chemistry to earn a Ph.D. Right after he joined Kyungbang in 1993 as a senior manager of the general affairs department. Afterward, he worked as an executive director of the finance department and sales department for many years. With his successful experiences, he was inaugurated as the president of Kyungbang in 2007.
