Biography
Yunmook Nah received his B.E., M.E., and PhD degrees in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea. He is currently a full professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and dean of the College of Software Convergence at Dankook University, Korea. He was a visiting scientist at IBM Watson Research Center in 1991 and a visiting scholar at the University of California, Irvine from 2001 to 2002. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as a national R&D program director of the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy of the Korean government, in the area of next-generation computing. He was president of the KIISE Database Society from 2013 to 2014. Now he is the President of KIISE(Korean Institute of Information Scientists and Engineers) and the President of the Software University Project Alliance. He is also the technical committee chair of the Green Data Center Certification Committee and a board member of KDCC(Korea Data Center Council).
