엘리자베스 안드레는 독일 아욱스부르크대학교 컴퓨터과학 교수로 재직 중이다. 인간중심 인공지능 분야에서 오랜 연구트랙과 학술공헌을 통하여 많은 상을 수상했고, 특히 최근 2021년에는 독일연구재단으로부터 독일 내 최고 연구포상금(250만 유로)과 함께 Gottfried Wilhelm Leibnitz Prize를 수상했다. 2010년에는 유럽에서 가장 권위 있는 유럽 아카데미와 독일 과학아카데미 Leopoldina의 회원으로 선출되었고, 2017년에는 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용 분야의 명예 리더 그룹 인 CHI 아카데미에 선출되었으며, 2013년 유럽인공지능위원회(EurAI)는 그녀의 인공지능 기술을 인간-컴퓨터 상호작용에 도입 한 공로에 대해 펠오우십을 수여했다. 안드레 교수는 2019년 독일국립정보학회(GI)가 발표한 AI 역사에서 가장 영향력 있는 인물 10인 중 한 명으로 선정되었다. 현재 IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing의 편집장을 맡고 있다.

Elisabeth André is a full professor of Computer Science at Augsburg University in Germany. She has a long track record in Human-centered Artificial Intelligence and her work has won many awards including the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibnitz Prize 2021 of the German Research Foundation, with 2.5 Mio € the highest endowed German research award. In 2010, Elisabeth André was elected a member of the prestigious Academy of Europe, and the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina. In 2017, she was elected to the CHI Academy, an honorary group of leaders in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. To honor her achievements in bringing Artificial Intelligence techniques to Human-Computer Interaction, she was awarded a EurAI fellowship (European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence) in 2013. In 2019, she was named one of the 10 most influential figures in the history of AI in Germany by National Society for Informatics (GI). Since 2019, she is serving as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing.
