Biography
Dr. Ki-jung Kim is the president of the Institute for National Security Strategy(INSS). Before joining the INSS, he taught and conducted research in the fields of international relations, East Asian international history, and foreign policy at the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Yonsei University. Dr. Kim served as policy advisor for the Korean government: for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Unification, and National Defense during 2004-2008. He performed as a Dean of the Graduate School of Public Administration at Yonsei University and the second deputy of the Office of National Security in 2017. He received a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
