Biography
Kim Hyun sook received her Ph.D. from Kyungpook National University. She taught at Kyungpook National University, Seoul National University of Education, Hansung University, and Yonsei University, and worked at the Goguryeo Research Foundation. She is currently a senior researcher at the Northeast Asian History Foundation and previously served as the head of the Korea-China Relations Institute and the head of the Research Policy Office. She has published about 50 articles on Goguryeo's history and Northeast Borderland History and the Chain of Events Research Project, including the memorial stone of King Gwanggaeto the Great and Goguryeo refugees.
