Biography
통자오 박사는 카네기 국제평화기금의 베이징본부 카네기–청화 글로벌 정책 센터의 핵정책 프로그램의 선임 연구원이다. 카네기 국제평화기금의 선임 연구원직 전 그는 하버드 대학 Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs의 스탠튼 핵안보 연구원으로 일하였다. 그는 또한 Pacific Forum CSIS의 WSD-Handa 비상주 연구원으로 베이징 시 인민 정부 외무부에서 근무하였다. 조지아 공과대학교에서 과학, 기술 및 국제학 박사 학위를 받았으며 청화대 학교에서 물리학 학사 및 국제관계학 석사 학위를 받았다.

He also has experience as a nonresident WSD-Handa Fellow at the Pacific Forum CSIS, and working for the Office of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality. He holds a PhD in science, technology, and international affairs from Georgia Institute of Technology, and received a B.S. in physics and an M.A. in international relations from Tsinghua University."
