Biography

Dr Dae Joong Kang is the president of the National Institute for Lifelong Education, Republic of Korea (NILE). Before his appointment, he was a professor of Education at the Seoul National University (on leave). He has served as the policy advisor to the Minister of Education and Human Resources Development of the Republic of Korea, and a local news reporter for the Korean daily newspaper ‘Munhwa Ilbo’. He is the president of the Korean Association for Studies in Parents and Guardians and vice president of the Korean Society for the Study of Lifelong Education.
