Biography
Buhm-Suk BAEK is an Associate Professor at Kyung-Hee University, College of International Studies in Korea. He is a member of the UN HRC Advisory Committee and served as an advisor to various government agencies and NGOs dealing with human rights issues. His research focuses on International Human Rights Law, Transitional Justice, Law & Development, and Third World Approaches to International law. His work appears in such journals as the Asian Yearbook of International Law, Korea Observer, Korean Journal of International and Comparative Law, and Asian & Pacific Migration Journal. He also published a book titled TRANSITIONAL JUSTICE IN POST-UNIFICATION KOREA by Palgrave McMillan with Ruti Teitel. He received a LL.B. from Seoul National University, and LL.M. and J.S.D. from Cornell Law School.
