Biography
YOO, SeongHoon is an associate fellow at the International Cooperation Research Division of the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI), which supports policy research and the establishment of government strategies in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) in Korea. He is carrying out the project ‘Establishment of ICT ODA Management System’, which comprehensively supports official development assistance (ODA) projects in the field of ICT sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT in Korea. He has been participating in ‘the ICT Development Consultation Program’ for developing countries around the world, including Africa, since 2011 and has been continuously conducting research activities to enhance the effectiveness of ODA projects and to strategically implement projects in the field of ICT. He worked as a research assistant in the Communication and Information (CI) Unit of UNESCO's Bangkok office in 2011 and also had experience in the team of the General Assembly (GA) at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations in 2010.
