Hyeog-In Kwon is currently a professor of Business Administration at Chung-Ang University. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Computer Engineering at Chung-Ang University, and a PhD in Communications Engineering from the Pierre and Marie Curie University, also known as the University of Paris VI. Major achievements include the establishment and operation of the Digital Contents Resource Center(DCRC) supported by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, the Korea Game Academy (2004-2014) supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy(MOTIE), the BK21 Culture and Arts Industry Innovation Research Group (2009-present) supported by the Ministry of Education.
The main areas of interest are in service innovation for IT convergence, and the main research subjects are as follows:
- Development of workcation service technology considering the recent non-face-to-face remote working environment (2021.4~current, MOTIE),
- Development of a methodology to support the creation of customer experience values and the establishment of a manufacturing and service ecosystem (2019.5~present, MOTIE),
- Research on the direction of innovation in energy technology development in preparation for the 4th Industrial Revolution (2017, Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation), and
- Development of services for utilizing digital signage technology (2019-present, Korea Research Foundation).
