Biography
Nohyoung Park is a Professor of Law at the Korea University School of Law since 1990. He is currently the Director of the Cyber Law Centre at Korea University, Chairman of the Korea International Mediation Centre, and President of International Cyber Law Studies in Korea. He served as Dean of the Korea University School of Law (2011-2013), President of the International Society of Fair Trade (2013-2014), President of the Society for East Sea (2010-2014), Founding President of the Korean Society of International Economic Law (2003-2006), and Commissioner of the Korea Trade Commission (2004-2007). He has advised governments and businesses on various international legal matters. He has pursued international research cooperation with various academic institutions in China, the EU, Japan, Russia, and the US over cybersecurity, data privacy, digital trade, arbitration and mediation, and the Nagoya Protocol. He graduated from the College of Law, Korea University (LL.B.), Graduate School, Korea University (LL.M.), Harvard Law School (LL.M.), and the University of Cambridge (Ph.D. in International Law).
