Biography

Kyung Ryul Park is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Science and Technology Policy and Adjunct Professor in the College of Business at KAIST. Park's research is primarily concerned with questions of technological innovation and global development. A core area of Park's study includes global technology governance and digital innovation for sustainable development. Before KAIST, he worked in the field of international development for seven years including at the World Bank, UN World Intellectual Property Organization, and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Professor Park holds a Ph.D. in Management (Information Systems and Innovation Group) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering, and a B.A. in International Relations from Seoul National University.
