Dr. Jae Hyeok Shin is an Associate Professor of Political Science & International Relations at Korea University. He teaches courses including political institutions and Southeast Asian politics. He also serves as Director of General Affairs of the Korea Association of International Development and Cooperation, Director of the Korea University Center for Asia Cooperation, and Editor of the Journal of Asiatic Studies. He received his Ph.D. in political science from UCLA in 2011. His research interests include elections, parties, legislative politics, and political/economic development in East and Southeast Asia. His works have appeared in journals including Party Politics, Political Science Quarterly, and Journal of East Asian Studies.
