Biography
Jongsoog Kim is a senior research fellow at Korea Women’s Development Research Institute in Korea. She received her PhD in Family Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her major research interests include women’s labor, national policies regarding women and enterprises, work and life balance, and household resource allocation. She published many policy reports and articles both in English and Korean. She served as Secretary to the President for Women and Family Affairs and a board member of the Korean Minimum Wage Council etc. Currently, she is leading the Korean Women's Economists Association as a chief.
