Nam Ho Lee is a professor at the Department of Chemistry and Cosmetics at Jeju National University. He is also serving as the head of the Jeju Industrial-Academic Convergence Institute on the Campus of the high-tech industrial complex. As a natural product chemist, Nam Ho Lee is interested in the industrialization of local natural resources including seaweeds and terrestrial plants. In particular, through industry-academic cooperation, he is making efforts to establish an ecosystem and further to lead the development of the Jeju cosmetics industry. He has served as the head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Group at Jeju National University and is a director of the Korean Cosmetics Association. Nam Ho Lee received a bachelor's and a master's degree from Yonsei University, and a Ph. D. from Iowa State University in the United States.
