Dr. Chulwon Kim is a professor at Kyung Hee University. He is an expert on regional tourism competitiveness, quality tourism, competitive edges and policies of sustainable, cultural, and international tourism, peace tourism, and MICE tourism which are the main focus of his research and activities. He served as dean of the College of Hotel Tourism Management, KHU, president of the Society of Korea Convention, and Knowledge Management Society of Korea and he has now served as president of the Tourism Qualitative Research Association. He received an MBA (International Marketing Strategy) at George Washington University and a Ph.D. in Leisure and Tourism Sciences at Texas A&M University.
