Biography
Jungdeuk Kim is the center director of the Social Welfare Research Center at Jeju Research Institute. She has many years of practical experience in the field of welfare for disabled people, juvenile delinquency, and single-mother families. In particular, she has a lot of field experience in relation to people with mental disorders, developmentally disabled people, and their families, and has received a doctorate in a related major. Afterward, as the head of the policy research team at the Daejeon Welfare Foundation, she developed and researched social welfare policies for the local community, mainly on the welfare of disabled people and the delivery system of social welfare service. After joining the Social Welfare Research Center at Jeju Research Institute in 2019, she participated in planning an integrated care project for the disabled community in the City of Jeju. Kim has a bachelor's degree from Yonsei University and master's and doctoral degrees from Chungnam National University."
