Biography
Chae-Han Kim is a Professor of Political Science at Hallym University. He wased as a national fellow by the Hoover Institution of Stanford University and as a national scholar by the ROK Ministry of Education. He founded the Academy of DMZ Sciences. He was the president of the Korean Public Choice Society as well as the Korean Association of Local Politics. He has written more than 200 articles and books. He received the Ilsong Prize for his article published in the Journal of Conflict Resolution; the DMZ Peace Prize for his study on peace; and the ROK Prime Minister’s Commendation. Twelve of his books wereed as a Book of Excellence by the ROK National Academy of Sciences or by the ROK Ministry of Culture. He has a BA from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. from the University of Rochester with a predoctoral fellowship from Stanford University.
