Dr. Thomas Schneider is the director of the Erich Maria Remarque Peace Center at Osnabruck University, Germany. Being an expert on the representation of war and peace in the media of the 20th and 21st centuries, Thomas Schneider and the Remarque Peace Center are members of the International Network of Museums for Peace, founding members of the European Network of Peace Historians and the network places of the numerous studies on war and the media; he is teaching literature and cultural studies at Osnabruck University and the University of the Bundeswehr, Munich.
