SangKeun Eom is a Research Fellow at the Jeju Research Institute(JRI). He majored in urban engineering at University and Graduate schools, and he is well-known for his Knowledge of urban planning, environmental policy, housing policy, and balanced development. Since 2008, SangKeun Eom has studied regional development, urban planning, marine cities, and Jeju Free International City policies at the JRI. He also conducted a number of studies on environmental policies and eco-friendly cities at the Korea Environment Institute(KEI) in Seoul before working at the JRI. Since 2010, he has served as a director of the Korea Planning Association(KPA) in the field of land, infrastructure, and urban areas and the Korea Environmental Policy and Administration Society(KEPAS) in the field of environmental policy. SangKeun Eom received a doctorate in urban engineering from the University of Seoul(UOS).
