Biography
Born in Hwasun, South Jeolla Province, Lee In graduated from Gwangju National University with a law degree and joined the Jeju CBS Press Production Bureau in 2001. He entered various fields such as the Social Affairs, Political Affairs, and Economic Affairs departments to discover and report on pending issues in Jeju Island, and is currently serving as the head of the press production bureau. He served as chairman of the 14th Jeju Press Council from July 2019 to 2020. Since March 2019, he has been publishing "Lee In's Special Jeju Story (formerly Lee In's Special Self-Governing Story)" on Jeju CBS Radio. He won a number of awards, the 2020 Democratic Journalist Award from the National Press, the 9th Journalist Association Human Rights Award from the National Human Rights Commission-Korea, the 2018 Good Program for the Month Award from the Korea Communications Review Committee, and the 2016 Korea Journalist of the Month Award.
