Biography
Dr. Dingding Chen is a Professor of International Relations and Associate Dean of the Institute for 21st Century Silk Road Studies at Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. He is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, Germany, and a Non-Resident Research Fellow at the SAIS at Johns Hopkins University. He is also the Founding Director of Intellisia Institute, a newly established independent think tank focusing on international affairs in China. His research interests include Chinese foreign policy, Asian security, Chinese politics, and human rights. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics from the Renmin University of China and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in political science (2007) from the University of Chicago.
