Biography
Hongjin Kim is a researcher at the Jeju Research Institute’s New Frontier Center. His research area includes climate change, renewable energy, battery energy storage systems, and waste management. Before joining the institute in 2021, he was a researcher at the KAIST Center for Sustainable Development. He has a B.A. in Industrial Engineering and a M.S. in Green Business and Policy from KAIST. He is also the Youth Representative at the Coalition for Our Common Future. He presided over the Voice from the Young Session at the Pre-Jeju Forum, and the 6th and 7th Seoul Climate-Energy Conference.
