Biography
Mr. Tony Glencross is a South African living in Uganda. He has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Heriot-Watt (Edinburgh Business School). He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business administration from the University of Heriot-Watt and a Diploma in strategic management from the Stellenbosch Business School and has attended courses in sales, professional learning, and personnel management
Tony has lived in Uganda (Kampala) since 2003
• From 2003 to early 2014, Tony was the Chief Commercial Officer at New Vision Ltd and his docket included strategy formulation and development, oversight of advertising, sales, and circulation; management of commercial business operations and supervision of internal systems and personnel.
• From 2015 to date, Tony has been the Managing Director at Nation Media Group Uganda, Uganda’s leading independent media house. Nation Media Group is the largest media company in East and Central Africa, with interests in newspapers, radio, digital, TV, printing, and courier services.
