Eui Keun Kim is the President and CEO of the International Convention Center Jeju. He was awarded a PhD Degree in Tourism Management from Kyonggi University in 2001 and received a Master's degree in Hotel Management from Sejong University in 1995. He served as the chairman of the organizing committee of many international events including the Wind Energy Asia Conference and Exhibition and Asia Cruise Forum Jeju. He also served as a consultant to the presidential committee for Balanced National Development and was awarded the Prime Minister Citation in recognition of his contribution to the development of the Korean maritime industry. Mr. Kim currently serves as the secretary general of the Asia Cruise Leaders Network and is also a professor at Jeju International University. His focus is on invigorating local tourism and economy by strengthening the MICE industry ecosystem in Jeju and building the foundation for raising MICE into a higher value-added industry.
