Biography

Born in Jeju on August 6, 1971, he is currently engaged in parliamentary activities as a member of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Council and chairman of the Jeju Provincial Council's Special Committee on Post-Corona Response. In addition to systematic research on youth issues, various policies were implemented for young people, including legislation of youth-related ordinances, discussions, and meetings. Through these efforts, he was recently awarded the 2020 Youth-Friendly Constitutional Grand Prize by Youth and Future in recognition of his contribution to creating a youth-friendly environment, including policies, legislation, and communication. In addition, he serves as a member of the steering committee of the Kim Geun-tae Foundation, which aims to unify the Korean Peninsula, promote world peace and cooperation, and carry out various and in-depth policies and research projects on political and economic issues on the Korean Peninsula and East Asia.
