Yujin Lee is an activist in search of solutions to the climate crisis and local energy transition. After the Fukushima disaster, she engaged in urban-based energy transition activities with Seongdaegol Energy Self-Sufficient Village in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. She also established and participated in developing the major policies of the Seoul Metropolitan City’s One Less Nuclear Power Plant, Solar City and the Green New Deal. She has conducted researches on energy plan establishment of regional local governments such as Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do, as well as basic local governments such as Dangjin, Jeonju, Gwangmyeong and Suncheon, and currently provides policy advice on these areas. She served as former executive director of Seoul Energy Corporation. Currently, she researches and establishes policies on the Green New Deal.

이유진은 기후위기와 지역에너지 전환 활동가이다. 후쿠시마 사고 이후 서울시 동작구 성대골에너지자립마을과 함께 도시기반 에너지전환 활동을 했고, 서울특별시 원전하나줄이기, 태양의 도시, 그린 뉴딜 정책을 수립하고 집행에 참여했다. 경기도, 충청남도 등 광역지자체와 당진시, 전주시, 광명시, 순천시 등 기초지자체의 에너지계획수립 연구를 진행했으며 정책자문을 하고 있다. 서울에너지공사 비상임이사를 지냈다. 현재 그린 뉴딜에 대해 연구하고 정책을 수립하는 역할을 하고 있다.
