Biography
Eunji Kim is a senior researcher at the Institute for Middle Eastern Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies(HUFS), Seoul. She has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Arabic Interpretation and Translation(AIT) since 2011. She was a research assistant in the GCC Institute at Dankook University. Her research focuses on the National Identity Building Process and Education in the Gulf States, Youth culture, and Culture Content in the Middle East. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Middle Eastern Sociology from the Graduate School of International and Area Studies(GSIAS) at HUFS. She currently serves on a number of boards in KAMES(Korean Association of Middle East Studies), and KAIS(Korean Association of Islamic Studies).
