Biography
Born in Seoul on March 30, 1962, Kinam Park served as the director of the Korea Women's Institute and Korea Foundation for Women. Since 1994, she has settled in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, and has worked as a gender studies researcher, femocrat, and representative and member of women’s organizations, crossing GO and NGOs to improve the quality of life and gender equality for women in the region. In particular, she has studied and practiced gender inequality issues in the labor market, gender mainstreaming policies, and regional women's movements. Her co-authors include <Asking for Equality at Work> (2014), <Caring for the Elderly> (2011), and <Gender at Work & Family> (2009).
