Biography

Professor Eunice K. Kim is a law professor at Ewha Womans University ("Ewha"), where she has served as Vice President for International Affairs, Dean of Ewha International Co-ed Summer College, Director of Ewha Institute for Gender & Law, and Director of Meridian 180, a global network-style think tank.
Before joining Ewha, Professor Kim, a member of New York State Bar, previously held senior positions in the financial sector, including Hana Financial Group, (Deputy CEO) Citibank Japan Ltd. (Chief Compliance Officer), Citibank Korea Inc. (Chief Legal Officer), Citigroup Global Markets Korea Ltd.(CLO/CCO), and Franklin Templeton Asset Management Co., Ltd (COO). Professor Kim currently serves on the Board of Samsung Biologics and previously served on the Board of KB Financial Group.
Professor Kim currently serves on the boards of three non-profit organizations: the GongGam Human Rights Law Foundation, the International Association of Korean Lawyers, and the Korea Network of Women in Finance. She has also served on numerous government, regulatory, or private sector committees and task forces. Professor Kim received her Juris Doctor from Yale Law School and graduated magna cum laude from Yale College, where she double-majored in Chinese Studies and Administrative Sciences with distinction in both majors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
