Biography
Kim Seonghoi was born on March 24, 1965, in Goisan, Chungbuk, South Korea. He served as an expert member of the 2nd Founding Committee under the direct control of the President and as an assistant to the National Assembly member In-je Ree. He is making great efforts to support the settlement of multicultural families and protect human rights, such as establishing the first Rainbow Choir composed of multicultural children. The Rainbow Choir was invited to commemorate the 2016 United Nations World Peace Day and performed at the United Nations Headquarters, and decided to propose the national anthem at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics. He is making great efforts to improve and develop multicultural policies in Korea, including submitting government reports such as “Problems of the Government's Multicultural Policy and Directions for Improvement”.
