Biography

Yang Keeho graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in politics and diplomacy and received his doctoral degree in political science from Keio University in Japan in 1994. Since 1996, he has been a professor of Japanese studies at Sungkonghoe University.
As of October 2020, he served as a 2nd member of the Presidential Committee on Policy Planning, a policy advisor to the National Security Department in the Blue House Office, a standing member of The National Unification Advisory Council, an advisor to the Northeast Asian History Foundation and a vice president of the World Political Association.
His major papers and books are "The Issues of Forced Labor and the Structural Change of Korea-Japan Relations" in The Korea Journal of Japanese Studies (KJJS) (2020), "The Origin of Korea-Japan Conflict in Moon Jae-in Government" in The Korean Journal of Japanology of (2019) and "The 50th Anniversary of the normalization of Korea-Japan relations" in the Yonsei University Press (2016).
