Kim Sang-Hoon was born on July 25, 1962, in Jeju, and is currently working as a vice president of External Affairs and Development at Cheju Halla General Hospital where he has worked for 27 years. His specialties are dentistry and agricultural economics, and he has worked on several national projects involving bioindustry such as the LOHAS wellness health care. He planned a health resort ‘THE WE,’ a combination of hospital and hotel, which is the first health resort in South Korea and the only one in Southeast Asia. It has been further developed and certified by the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). It was also voted as Travelers’ Choice for three consecutive years (from 2018 to 2020) by TripAdvisor, which is the world’s most influential travel platform.
