Gusun Park was born in 1960 in Yeongcheon Gyeonsangbuk-do and has made arduous efforts to innovate the growth of the national biohealth industry as chair of the Osong Medical Innovation Foundation. Since Gusun Park started his career at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology in 1987, served as director of the National S&T Commission and as vice president of the Korea Institute of S&T Evaluation and Planning.
Gusun Park mainly developed the national science policies including the system of the status/ improvement of preliminary feasibility study of national R&D and the platform of national technical information service. As an active leader of the Osong Medical Innovation Foundation since 2016, he planned the 3rd and 4th development strategies of the national medical innovation cluster.
