Jae-mo Pak joined the Jeju Free International City Development Center under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in the first year of its establishment (2002), and is currently serving as the head of the investment business division's resort complex after serving as the head of the new business team, the head of the research and research team, the head of the planning and coordination office, and the head of the sales department of the duty-free headquarters. In 2003, he obtained his master's degree from the Department of Tourism Development at Gyeonggi University and published more than 10 academic papers such as 'Analysis of Jeju Tourist Life Cycle and Growth Management Plan' in addition to his book 'Tourist Life Cycle and Growth Management Strategy'. A number of practical projects such as' planning' were carried out. Currently, he serves as the chairman of the Jeju Island Special Subcommittee of the Korean Tourism Association (2018) and is active as a regular member of the Jeju Branch of the Korean Land and Urban Planning Association, the Korean Tourism Management Association, and the Korean Transportation Association, working in the fields of tourism development, regional development, and urban planning.
