Doo-Han KIM works as a director of the Healthcare Town Department, Jeju Free International City Development Center(JDC) directing the construction of Healthcare Town Healing Hills located in Seogwipo, Jeju. He focuses on activating the local economy by attracting bio enterprises while dedicating himself to making Healthcare Town Healing Hills a medical tourism complex combined with wellness, medical, and R&D functions. He has endeavored to construct Jeju Free International City by successively filling both project and support departments’ director posts in JDC since 2005, after serving as a policy adviser to the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Governor. He completed a master’s degree in Energy Environmental Policy from Kyoto University, Japan. Meanwhile, he has also translated two Japanese publications into Korean.
