Yong-Hwan JUNG, an expert in molecular genetics, works as a director since 2019 of Biodiversity Research Institute, Jeju Technopark(JTP) where he started his career as a researcher in 2004. He strives for research and development of industrialization of subtropical bioresources to respond to Access to Genetic Resources and Benefit Sharing(ABS) laid down in the Convention on Biological Diversity(CBD). He also supports local businesses by transferring more than 20 technologies based on his 50 patents.
